The project involves the emergence through digital outlets, part of the educational content, produced by Tei of Western Macedonia and the Supreme Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki.

The main purpose of the project is to create and promote "digital" courses of parts of Western Macedonia TEI and of higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, through one single electronic learning platform.

The teaching method used today in the universities and TEIs is done teaching in teaching spaces like auditoriums, halls teaching, seminar rooms etc., in combination with laboratory courses carried out in specially equipped places, the workshops. Then, the students study the material in their home and stand in the exams to certify their knowledge. The model is purely didaskalo-centric and not mathito-Central.

The present project utilizing new technologies and in particular the multimedia applications, It aims to highlight the educational material of the courses provided by the two institutions at undergraduate and postgraduate environment, While it aims to improve and upgrade their services to stakeholders, i.e.. students.

With this project, complemented and enriched teaching as the current model will be live broadcast by the teaching of the courses and their recording. The result will be the ability to remotely monitor the students a lesson, and/or they can resume monitoring of those courses will be recorded at any time they wish. Also the organisation and provision of open digital courses that follow specific standards and of the relevant educational material, the possibility study of enhanced educational material, from students and the general public.

The project is designed to create appropriate services for the showing and distribution of educational content on the Internet, in the form of digital material (notes, exercises etc.) and multimedia content such as binteodialexeis, podcasts etc., so this content is made available free to local and time constraints, considering international practices in relevant projects such as:

• The now famous worldwide online education system: OpenCourseware MIT's (http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm), as well as
• The community's online training system VideoLectures.net (http://videolectures.net/).

for the purpose of:

• the development and distribution of digital educational material and
• promoting action learing as strengthening of contractual education provided in (I)dry results.

The digital educational material will come from both the conversion exercises, notes, slides and other material currently used in educational process in digital form and videotaping, transmission and storage of courses and lectures and in general the production of multimedia esikoy appropriate educational content.

Digital material to be produced will be posted on relevant platforms (learing and platform videoportal) per institution and will only be available with licenses CreativeCommons both the directly interested (students, students) and to the general public.

In addition to the Institutions of points-gathering and presentation platforms of related material will be created by the horizontal project action (Class) and nationwide presentation point-search all hardware and hosting point/suspension of content for you (I)they are dry.
