Held on Tuesday 17 February 2015 the TEI of Western Macedonia (Hollow – Kozani, -P.C 501 00) at time 12:00 a.m. meeting with the subject of updating external partners.

The principal investigator of the project, Mr. Elias Gunopulos, informed external partners of the project team on the progress of the project, the Organization of work for the next six months of the project, as well as for the procedures for the receipt of project deliverables.

Internal partner, Mr. Dimitriadis Dimitrios, trained contractors to post grade Course platform Open Delos.

At the end of the workshop, followed by a debate on the progress and implementation of the project, While the scientific project manager Mr. Elias Gunopulos, responded to related queries and questions.

The Coordinator of the project and the partners of the project team met in the Auditorium of TEI of Western Macedonia (Hollow-Kozani, -P.C 501 00) at 30-09-2014 time 11:00 am, on the education of young collaborators of work and information about the progress of the project.

The principal investigator of the project, Mr. Elias Gunopulos, informed external partners of the project group on the scope of the project, work packages of the project while responded to their queries about the project.

With great success took place on Friday 9 May 2014 and time 10:30 am in the large auditorium Spyros Arsenis of TEI of Western Macedonia, Koila kozanis workshop to update public on the activities of the project "Open academic courses of TEI of Western Macedonia and the highest Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki».

At the beginning of the event the President of TEI of Western Macedonia,. N. Asimopoylos addressed his greetings to delegates stressing the importance of the project for the Tei of Western Macedonia and his students. With his presence honored the event and Mr. P. Mpalaoyras, a representative of the academic Network (Class), who informed for the horizontal action of the project Open Courses, as well as for the progress of the other Institutions.

Followed by the scientific coordinator of the programme,. THE. Gunopulos, who talked about the development of the project at the Tei of Western Macedonia. In the same context he moved and Mr. P. Aggelidis, If. Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering and principal investigator of the project at the University of Western Macedonia.

The instructor in higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki,. Anastasios Maras developed the possibilities and prospects of open Academic courses for the learning process and scientific knowledge in the context of curriculum of higher Ecclesiastical Academy. The President of Supreme Ecclesiastic Academy father Gregory Stamkopoulos He stressed the contribution of e-learning and open Courses in lifelong learning».

The event ended the k. M. Miggos, President of the regional Federation for the DISABLED in Western Macedonia, who pointed out the importance of the project for people with disabilities , After open academic courses facilitate access to high-quality educational material and contribute to ensuring equality of conditions for participation in higher education.

"Open academic courses of TEI of Western Macedonia and the highest Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki»

The Tei of Western Macedonia in collaboration with the Supreme Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki invite you to an informative workshop on the project "Open Academic courses», to be held on Friday 9 May 2014, 10.30 a.m. in the Grand Amphitheatre Spyros Arsenis of TEI of Western Macedonia (Koila Kozanis).

The aim of the project is to digitize the educational content produced by the two partner institutions, the development of the accompanying multimedia material such as binteodialexeis, podcasts, etc.. and making them available without local and time constraints as the directly interested, students and students, and in the wider community through the use of latest technologies.

The development and distribution of open access digital course expands and increases the audience that the study, Removes any spatio-temporal constraints, promotes cooperation between institutions and ensures equal participation of people with disabilities helping overall upgrading of the educational process.

The project is co-financed by the European Union (Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινωνικό Ταμείο – ΕΚΤ) and national resources through the operational programme "education and lifelong learning" of the national strategic reference framework (ESPA).

Assessment Workshop

The highest Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the Western Macedonia TEI organized on Tuesday 18 March 2014, at 10.30, Information on workshop:

«Open courses-Open courses»

Although the workshop was scheduled to be held at the Auditorium of higher Ecclesiastical Academy Ii Thessalonikis, the massive student turnout forced organizers to move the event to the Big Auditorium. The students formed the vast group of participants and many of them, as future users of the hardware support of the program essentially raised questions around the resulting lessons, but also for the future of academic textbooks. Equally strong was the presence of teachers of the Academy, who focused their questions on the issue of copyright, but the timetable for development and integration of the project.

At the beginning of the event the President of the Supreme Ecclesiastic Academy w. Gregory addressed his greetings to delegates Stamkopoulos. Then the Professor of University of Macedonia Vasilios Dagdilelis, spoke the E-Learning in higher education. Speech followed-through Skype- of Prodromos Tsiaboy with theme Copyright and open academic courses. THE Professor of University of Macedonia Emmanuel Roumeliotis made a presentation of the corresponding project in University of Macedonia. In the same context, followed by the scientific coordinator of the program Elias Gunopulos, who talked about the development of the project at the Tei of Western Macedonia. The Instructor in higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki Anastasios Maras developed the possibilities and prospects of open Academic courses for the learning process and scientific knowledge in the context of curriculum of higher Ecclesiastical Academy.

The purpose of the workshop was the presentation of the project "Open courses-Open courses» in the academic community, but also to the general public. The aim of the whole effort is the digitization of the educational content produced in higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki and the Tei of Western Macedonia, two of the institutions of higher education in the country. The development of an accompanying multimedia material such as binteodialexeis, podcasts, etc.. and making them available without local and time constraints as the directly interested, students and students, and in the wider society is through the use of latest technologies.
